Dr. Nazeera Dawood, MBBS, MPH, CCRC                                                                                                                           Dean of Health and Human Services

Dr. Nazeera Dawood has a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a Medical Degree from Bangalore University, India.

Dr. Dawood directs the activities of six health promotion coalitions formed to address major chronic diseases in Fulton County, GA communities. The name or this organization is HPAC (Health Promotion Action Coalition, Inc.)

Under her leadership, Fulton County chronic disease collaborative partnerships have grown to over 400 businesses, organizations and individuals.

Prior to this position, she worked as a clinical researcher at Emory University. She served on the President's Commission on Race and Ethnicity and was recognized as "We are Emory -100 Community Builders."

Dr. Dawood currently serves as a board member in the South Asian Public Health Association (SAPHA) and Georgia Alliance for Health Literacy. As  a Fulton County resident, she is participating in the Johns Creek Leadership Program 2013.
